Our Advisory Board brings to our firm invaluable operating and managerial experience. In addition, they have extensive industry relationships and access to top management talent. The Advisory Board brings CEO-level experience in several industries - both industrial and service-related, as well as significant international experience, notably in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
JOHN CHIDSEY
Mr. Chidsey is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Subway. Prior to Subway, he served as Chairman and CEO of Burger King.
From 1996 to 2004, he was a senior executive at Cendant Corporation. In his final position, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of two corporate divisions - the Vehicles Services Division (Avis Rent-A-Car, Budget Rent-A-Car Systems, PHH and Wright Express) and the Financial Services Division (Jackson Hewitt and other divisions).
From 1992 to 1995, he served in various senior executive positions at PepsiCo, including director of finance of Pepsi-Cola Eastern Europe and the Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo World Trading Co. Prior thereto, he was an investment banker in New York City and London.
Mr. Chidsey holds an MBA and JD from Emory University and a BA from Davidson College. He is a CPA and a member of the Georgia Bar. He serves on the Board of Directors of HealthSouth Corporation, the Board of Trustees of Davidson College and several local boards in Miami, FL.
He resides in Miami, FL with his wife and two children.
ALEX BOLEN
Mr. Bolen is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Oscar de la Renta, Ltd., an international luxury goods firm. Mr. Bolen joined Oscar de la Renta in 2003 serving as Director of Corporate Development prior to being named CEO in 2004.
Prior work experience includes nearly 15 years in leveraged finance with Bear Stearns Mezzanine Capital Group, First Dominion Capital, Credit Agricole Indosuez and Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Bolen holds a BA from Brown University. He is active in numerous philanthropic and charitable organizations in New York City.
He resides in New York City with his wife and three children.
JOHN O'LEARY
Mr. O'Leary was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tuscarora, Incorporated, a specialty packaging company, prior to its sale in 2001 to SCA, a multi-national packaging company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Mr. O'Leary is currently a Director of Matthews International, a publicly traded manufacturing company and Pregis Corporation, a large specialty packaging company. He also serves as an advisor at AEA Investors, a leading private equity firm. Mr. O'Leary is an active investor and advisor to several smaller companies across a range of industries.
Mr. O'Leary holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Gettysburg College. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of Gettysburg College and numerous local and charitable boards.
He resides in Pennsylvania and Florida with his wife and has three grown children.
